Neil Young says he lost one of his bandmates to Bruce Springsteen.
That would be guitarist Nils Lofgren, who plays with both the E Street Band and Crazy Horse.
During an appearance on Rick Rubin’s podcast, Young said that Springsteen’s upcoming 2023 ‘mega tour’ means Lofgren won’t be available for any of Young’s live dates.
He said, “I actually feel for Nils a little bit because I know he wants to be here with us. But you know, he’s with Bruce, and Bruce’s been there for him for years and years”.
Bruce Springsteen’s tour begins on February 1, 2023, in Florida.
