New audio has been released detailing a phone call from an MGM Grand employee to Detroit 911 dispatch on the night of Chris Cornell’s death.

The phone call was obtained by ABC’s WXYZ Detroit and their report revealed details about bodyguard Martin Kirsten’s encounter with hotel security and the response time of emergency units to the scene.

According to Kirsten, he asked hotel security to let him into Cornell’s room, but they denied him access because it was not his room. Kirsten then reportedly knocked down two doors to get to Cornell before units arrived.

WXYZ’s report also revealed that investigators said the timeline before response units arrived to the scene was consistent with prior evidence.

Vicky Cornell recently spoke about her late husband’s substance abuse and addiction problems.
