Even though he’s not a huge fan of the holiday, Mike McGlinchey’s Halloween was pretty great.

The 49ers got back to winning ways after a rough stretch on Sunday, beating the Chicago Bears 33-22.

The away game meant McGlinchey missed most of the holiday, but still made sure to get the good stuff for the trick-or-treaters.

“I made sure to go over to Costco to get the full size candy bars,” McGlinchey said on 107.7 The Bone. “You can’t be a house that doesn’t give out the full sizes.

“I made sure not to open the packages so I wasn’t tempted, and I had Brooke put in all the fun size candy bars in the freezer so that I could eat some frozen chocolate.”

McGlinchey said he and his girlfriend Brooke dressed up as Bugs and Lola Bunny for Halloween, then he broke down some of the best questions from his teammates. Unfortunately, Kyle Shanahan wasn’t among them.

“George [Kittle] had a pretty sick Halo costume. Tom Compton and his wife Tiffany were pretty awesome as Willy Wonka and Violet.”

“I did not see Kyle in any gear. He might have dressed up for his kids but not us.”
