Elton John is doling out high praise to Metallica. During a new interview, Sir Elton said the band’s tune “Nothing Else Matters” is “one of the best songs ever written.” John was piped into the Howard Stern Show via Zoom yesterday while Metallica and Miley Cyrus discussed her cover of the song, which John played piano on.
Metallica frontman James Hetfield welled up with tears at the compliment.
