Megadeth isn’t wasting any time moving on from former bassist David Ellefson. After giving Ellefson the boot last month over a sexting scandal, frontman Dave Mustaine says they’ll be re-recording all of his bass parts for the band’s upcoming album, most of which was recorded last year.

Mustaine said the re-recording will happen in the next couple of weeks – and that the band is also on the hunt for a permanent replacement for Ellefson.
