The Museum of Pop Culture Announces Alice in Chains as the 2020 Founders Award Honoree

The Museum of Pop Culture will honor Alice in Chains on December 1st at 6pm PT and you can watch! The event will be streaming through the MoPOP’s Facebook page, Amazon Music’s Twitch channel, and Amazon Music app, and you can join! This one-night-only benefit will feature unforgettable performances by Alice In Chains, Metallica, Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumpkins), Korn, Ann Wilson, Duff McKagan (Guns N’ Roses), Corey Taylor (Slipknot), Dave Navarro (Jane’s Addiction), Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters), Mastodon, Krist Novoselic (Nirvana), Shooter Jennings, and many more. Plus special appearances by Eddie Vedder, Jeff Ament, Les Claypool, Robert Downey Jr, Sammy Hagar, Tom Morello, Vernon Reid, and others!

This year’s event will stream for free and is open to all, but donations are accepted and appreciated. Since 2007, the Museum of Pop Culture Founders Award has celebrated artists whose noteworthy contributions continue to nurture the next generation of risk-takers.
