Help feed and support the animals affected by the CZU Lightning Complex fires

The San Mateo County Large Animal Evacuation Servies needs your help in feeding and supporting the animals affected by the CZU Lightning Fire!

100% of all donations are put toward animal care: food, bedding, and any other supplies needed for their care. As of now, all the ranches are at capacity and we are also now at the Cow Palace. LAEG – Large Animal Evacuation Group takes care of all of San Mateo County. We have evacuated about 1,200 large animals from the coast and we are now taking care of the animals until their owners are in a position to bring them home. All donations are greatly appreciated.

The mission of the San Mateo County Large Animal Evacuation Group (SMC LAEG) is to provide qualified large animal handlers and horse trailers in emergency situations, to evacuate large animals in any degree of disaster or emergency and to lessen the burden on Emergency Services. You can call them at 650-726-4814 or visit their website smclaeg.org.
