After being named as Billboard’s second highest grossing band in 2016, Guns N’ Roses currently sits atop Pollstar’s mid-year chart for the Top 100 Grossing tours.

Billboard compiled the stats from last year and combined artist sales, publishing, streaming and touring to determine the rankings. In 2016, Guns N’ Roses gained $43.2 million in revenue and was edged out by Beyoncé who gained $62.1 million for the top spot overall. Although Guns N’ Roses took the second spot, they were the biggest earners in rock music, followed by Bruce Springsteen who earned $42.2 million.

In Pollstar’s recent mid-year chart for the Top Grossing tours of 2017, Guns N’ Roses came in at first overall for their current “Not in This Lifetime” tour. Among the stats from the report, an average ticket price for Guns N’ Roses went for $108.96 and they have sold 1,390,396 tickets as of June 30.

The band currently sports a throwback lineup consisting of Axl Rose, Slash, bassist Duff McKagan, with guitarist Richard Fortus, drummer Fank Ferrer, keyboardist Dizzy Reed and new second keyboardist Melissa Reese.

In other Guns N’ Roses news, the 30th Anniversary for Appetite for Destruction is Friday, July 21st and ads for the anniversary have been appearing in New York City without a formal announcement from the band. These ads also come after they announced they will be playing a show at The Apollo Theater on the eve of the anniversary.

Guns N’ Roses next listed concert is on July 27 at The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
