Presenting … SOUNDWAVES XMAS 2020!
Hosted by Chasta, Dennis Willis, Steven Kirk, Morris Knight and Joe McCaffrey, Soundwaves Xmas usually unfolds over multiple locations, on multiple stages, and features live performances from local and independent artists. But due to Covid-19, the special will feature over two dozen virtual performances, interviews and special appearances – all from remote locations.
Produced in partnership with 107.7 The Bone, the 31st annual edition features appearances from TV and radio personalities Dan Ashley (KGO-TV), The Bone’s Zakk and Baby Huey; Dayna Keyes (Radio Rehab), Peter Finch, John Stanley (Creature Features), Bret Burkhart and Nikki Medoro.
SWXMAS 2020 will feature exclusive performances and holiday videos from Bite Me Bambi, The Sam Chase, The Dollyrots, The Happys, Jared Harper, The Pill is You featuring Frantic Romantic, Lola Kristine and Noah Sherwin, Pamela Parker, Royal Rebels, Rusty Chains, SONA and Jessie Wagner.
Additionally, three of the aforementioned performing artists wrote brand new holiday songs specifically for Soundwaves Xmas 2020!
Nonprofits supported include the Pacifica Resource Center, Adopt an Angel, Harper for Kids, the Independent Venue Alliance (IVA), St. Jude, HomeFirst, Rock the CASA, ToyCycle, Toys for Tots, and San Francisco Suicide Prevention.
