Ozzy Osbourne may have one final musical surprise for fans, as two previously unreleased tracks recorded during sessions for his 2022 album Patient Number 9 could be featured in an upcoming Sony biopic about his life. The late Prince of Darkness, who passed away in July 2025 at age 76, reportedly worked on the secret recordings with producer Andrew Watt, exploring themes surrounding his life and longtime romance with wife Sharon Osbourne. The songs remain unfinished, with final mixes yet to be completed, and reports suggest even Sharon has not heard the material in its final form.
The upcoming biopic, spearheaded by Sharon and Jack Osbourne, aims to celebrate Ozzy’s extraordinary career while giving fans an intimate look at his personal life. Watt recently confirmed the existence of unreleased recordings, recalling that he and Ozzy listened to the material together shortly before the singer’s final performance with Black Sabbath. While no official release date has been announced for the film or songs, the possibility of hearing previously unreleased music from the legendary frontman offers fans another opportunity to celebrate his legacy.
