Mötley Crüe is marking the 45th anniversary of their debut album, “Too Fast for Love,” with a deluxe limited-edition box set set to release on October 30, featuring multiple versions of the album and previously unreleased recordings aimed at collectors.
The box set includes the original 1981 Leathür Records version of “Too Fast for Love,” which has a different mix and track listing compared to the 1982 Elektra Records version, along with live performances from Perkins Palace in 1982 and early studio session demos.
Among the memorabilia included in the collection are a replica of the band’s original demo cassette, a 7-inch single, and a CD of the Leathür Records version, as well as a 100-page hardcover photo book with rare images and reproductions of early promotional materials.
A previously unreleased demo of “Nobody Knows What It’s Like To Be Lonely” from March 1981 has been shared as a preview of the collection, highlighting the band’s early work before their rise to fame.
The deluxe box set is part of Mötley Crüe’s broader 45th anniversary celebrations, which also included the release of “Crücial Crüe 1981-1989” and their ongoing 33-date North American tour, “The Return of the Carnival of Sins.”
