Ann Wilson’s latest album with Tripsitter, “Consecrated Ground,” was fueled by her abundance of new musical ideas.
Wilson’s collaboration with Tripsitter has resulted in a creative burst, leading to her fourth studio album since 2018.
“Consecrated Ground” reflects Wilson’s vulnerability and observational spirit, with songs like “Reverse Chaos” and “Me and Comanche” showcasing her unique approach to songwriting.
She said, “I have pages and pages of stuff that I wrote while they were jamming. Not all of it works, but some of it does, really well. It just fits like a puzzle.”
Wilson’s health issues, including a cancer scare and a fall, have not deterred her from continuing to create music and perform live.
