Black Sabbath filmed a session for the Dutch TV show ‘Doebidoe’ three months after the release of their debut album.
The band played a 40-minute set on ‘Doebidoe,’ featuring extended versions of songs from their debut album, including a rare live version of Warning.
The full, broadcast-quality audio from the live tracks of the ‘Doebidoe’ session, previously thought to be lost, has surfaced on an unofficial live album titled The Lost 1970 Avro Sessions.
The Lost 1970 Avro Sessions is released on the German label Avertigro as a limited edition of 666 copies, paying tribute to the band’s record label, Vertigo, and broadcaster AVRO.
Three days after the ‘Doebidoe’ session, Black Sabbath appeared on the German TV show ‘Beat-Club.’
