Good Charlotte is re-releasing the album “Greetings From California,” originally released under The Madden Brothers moniker in 2014, with three bonus tracks on November 6.
Joel and Benji Madden initially wanted to keep the album for themselves, but now believe it could have been a Good Charlotte record all along.
The album features a collaboration with Ziggy Marley on the track “U R” and includes a version of “Jealousy (All Your Friends In Silverlake)” with Eyedress.
The reissue of “Greetings From California” allows Good Charlotte to reflect on their past and incorporate the album’s diverse musical approaches back into the band.
The album will also have a limited-edition 2LP vinyl release for Record Store Day on November 27 and precedes Good Charlotte’s ‘Motel Du Cap’ tour in Europe and the UK, where they will be joined by Yellowcard and Grave Secrets.
