‘Ozzy & Black Sabbath: Back to the Beginning’ will receive a worldwide cinematic release on October 28th via Trafalgar Releasing and Mercury Studios.
The film captures the final performances of Ozzy Osbourne and the original lineup of Black Sabbath just 17 days before Ozzy’s passing at age 76.
Sharon Osbourne mentioned that Ozzy’s desire to perform again and say goodbye to his fans was the driving force behind the project.
Tom Morello, the musical director for the event, highlighted the historical significance of the concert, stating, “There’s never been a precedent for a show like this.”
The movie received universal acclaim from critics, fans, and musicians, with the surviving members of Black Sabbath viewing it as necessary closure and the heavy metal community seeing it as a tribute to the genre’s creators.
