Butcher Babies have released their new single and music video, “Leaving California,” which is the fifth single from their upcoming album, “Nightbloom,” set to be released on October 2.
“Leaving California” reflects on the emotional conflict of leaving behind a familiar life for an uncertain future, with vocalist Heidi Shepherd describing it as a bittersweet moment of new beginnings.
Producer Howard Benson praised the song’s message, stating, “I really relate to Heidi’s lyrics on ‘Leaving California.’ It’s very of the moment and timely, but the lyrics are also deeply personal.”
Butcher Babies are embarking on a 2026 world tour, including a U.S. run with Chad Gray and an appearance at Louder Than Life festival, showcasing their high-energy live performances and building anticipation for “Nightbloom.”
