The Punk Rock Museum is celebrating the legacy of Motörhead and its legendary frontman Lemmy Kilmister with a new exhibition opening October 2.
The exhibit will highlight Motörhead’s unique place between punk rock and heavy metal while giving fans an up-close look at personal items from Lemmy’s collection.
One of the biggest attractions will give visitors the opportunity to actually play bass through the stack Lemmy used, offering fans a rare chance to experience a piece of his unmistakably loud sound.
The museum’s Vinyl Threat record shop will also feature Motörhead albums, while exclusive merchandise will be available through the gift shop.
Opening festivities will continue at Three Star Punk Bar with a special evening featuring Brian Slagel DJing to celebrate the exhibition.
For Motörhead fans, the exhibit offers a chance to get closer to the music, gear and legacy of one of rock’s most uncompromising icons.
