The script for the Ozzy Osbourne biopic is finished, and Jack Osbourne confirmed that his family is currently meeting with directors for the project.
Jack Osbourne, along with his mother Sharon Osbourne and sister Aimee Osbourne, is producing the film, which is set to start shooting in the spring or summer of 2027 and will focus on Ozzy and Sharon’s relationship.
Jack described the creative direction of the biopic as being more like “Walk the Line” than “Bohemian Rhapsody” or “Michael.”
The family’s mantra for the project is to “give the fans what they want,” emphasizing that the film will cater to the fans’ expectations rather than taking experimental risks.
The biopic, announced by Sony Pictures and Polygram Entertainment in 2021, will feature music from Ozzy Osbourne’s solo career and his time as Black Sabbath’s frontman, but no release date has been revealed yet.
