Maynard James Keenan is expanding his culinary ventures in Arizona with the opening of Queen B Sushi in Old Town Cottonwood.
The Tool and Puscifer frontman, who has established himself in Arizona’s wine and food scene, named the new restaurant after the 2007 Puscifer song “Queen B.” Keenan says his appreciation for sushi stretches back to 1987.
For the new venture, Keenan has brought in experienced culinary talent, including Chef Brett Vibber and Chef Chuhiro “Thomas” Kato, who trained under renowned chef Nobu Matsuhisa. Queen B Sushi will also feature a selection of wines from Keenan’s Arizona vineyards.
Reservations are now available for fans and food lovers planning a trip to the Verde Valley.
Keenan will soon return his attention to music as well, with international touring ahead for Puscifer and A Perfect Circle. Puscifer’s UK and European tour begins in October, followed by shows in South America, Australia, Japan and Hawaii.
