Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash confirmed the band is writing new material and plans to hit the studio after current touring commitments end.
Slash stated during the Rolling Stone Uncut podcast interview that new music is coming soon and that the band has been in the studio recently working on new material.
Slash compared the current writing process to the band’s Use Your Illusions albums and mentioned that the time for new music with Guns N’ Roses is coming soon.
After the band’s world tour wraps up, Slash will kick off a tour with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, supporting their fifth album set to be released in February 2027.
Slash discussed his reunion with frontman Axl Rose during the podcast, mentioning that their issues were not insurmountable and that they haven’t had any fights in the 10 years they’ve been together this time around.
