Def Leppard is making progress on their next studio album, aiming for an early 2027 release.
The band released a single, “Rejoice,” to coincide with their Las Vegas residency, recording in the casino’s basement on days off.
Guitarist Phil Collen told Ultimate Classic Rock the band was having a blast in the studio: “It’s just wonderful to have all those different styles of music and not be stuck in a thing [we don’t enjoy] and [to be doing it] for the reasons [we’re] doing it.”
Collen discusses the diversity and collaborative nature of the upcoming album, drawing inspiration from Queen’s approach.
