Lars Ulrich has described Metallica’s upcoming Las Vegas Sphere residency as “overwhelming anding intimidating.”
The band’s residency at the Las Vegas Sphere has been extended into 2027, offering a unique Metallica experience with Sphere Immersive Sound and multi-sensory 4D technology.
Ulrich mentioned that the band has been working on The Sphere show for over a year and expressed excitement about the new level of performance it will bring.
Ulrich admitted that the upcoming shows will be challenging and intimidating but hope they will come together on stage for the first night.
Metallica had been considering the Sphere venue for a while, with Kirk Hammett praising it as a modern technological advancement in entertainment, while Robert Trujillo highlighted the endless possibilities it offers for a heavy rock band.
