Flea showcased his musical versatility at the Tiny Desk Concert series, performing three songs where he switched between trumpet, bass, and vocals.
The setlist included “Traffic Lights,” “Morning Cry,” and “A Plea,” with Flea collaborating with a band that included Jeff Parker, Josh Johnson, Anna Butterss, and Deantoni Parks.
Flea expressed his excitement about working with the musicians, stating, “Just jamming, connecting, and feeling who they are.”
Flea, known for his bass work with Red Hot Chili Peppers, was promoting his debut solo album, ‘Honora,’ during the Tiny Desk performance.
Flea showed up with his band after a gig at the Black Cat in Washington, D.C.
