Greta Van Fleet returned with a surprise, one-night-only show in New York City at the Manhattan Bowery Ballroom, debuting two new songs, “Play Your Games” and “Tear It Down.”
The concert was intended to connect directly with their most dedicated supporters, with band members personally hand-selling tickets to fans waiting in line, intensifying the excitement and buzz surrounding the show.
The performance was intimate and close, with no opening acts, and the band interacted directly with the audience, including vocalist Josh Kiszka stepping into the crowd to hand out flowers.
Fans highlighted the band’s ability to command a room and tell stories, despite the time away from the stage, with no barricades separating the band from the audience.
The band played 12 songs from their catalog and debuted the new songs “Tear It Down” and “Play Your Games” live during the show.
