The Osbourne family has partnered with Hyperreal to create an interactive digital avatar of Ozzy.
Jack Osbourne said it was “kind of scary” how accurate the avatar is, while Sharon said the digital Ozzy will be able to answer questions in his own voice.
Hyperreal, the company behind the project, is known for its immersive avatar entertainment and has previously worked on projects like de-aging Paul McCartney and creating an interactive hologram of Stan Lee.
Jack Osbourne stressed the importance of keeping the digital avatar true to the real Ozzy Osbourne, stating, “Everything the family does with Ozzy’s name and likeness has to reflect who he really was.”
