Vince Neil’s company, Chromed in Hollywood, is suing the city of Scottsdale over a plane crash that killed a pilot and destroyed two aircraft in February 2025.
The lawsuit claims that the parked plane should not have been in an Object Free Area, which is meant to be clear of obstructions.
Attorney Josh Kolsrud suggests that the central question in the case will be determining what caused the crash, whether it was the malfunctioning Learjet or the parked jet on the runway.
Arizona’s comparative fault state status means that blame could be assigned to both parties, potentially impacting the damages awarded.
The Scottsdale City Council has decided to fight the lawsuit and may pursue a countersuit for damages.
