Stevie Nicks performed at New Orleans’ Jazz Fest and surprised fans by playing the Fleetwood Mac song “Don’t Stop,” which she hadn’t performed in over a decade.
Nicks mentioned to the Jazz Fest crowd that “Don’t Stop” was a song she and her band hadn’t played in a long time and expressed that “It feels like a good time to do it.” She described the song as “a happy song” with “a lot of hope.”
The last time Stevie Nicks performed “Don’t Stop” at one of her solo shows was in 2011, according to setlist.fm.
In addition to “Don’t Stop,” Nicks’ Jazz Fest set included other Fleetwood Mac songs like “Gypsy,” “Dreams,” “Rhiannon,” “Landslide,” and “Gold Dust Woman,” as well as solo hits like “Stand Back” and “Edge of Seventeen.”
Stevie Nicks also performed her most recent single, “The Lighthouse,” and her duet with Tom Petty, “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around,” during her Jazz Fest set.
