Paramount Pictures has released a trailer for the fifth and final film in the Jackass franchise titled Jackass: Best and Last, set to be released in theaters on June 26.
The original cast members of Jackass, including Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Steve-O, and others, have reunited for the upcoming film after decades of being involved in the franchise.
Johnny Knoxville suffered severe injuries during the filming of Jackass Forever in 2022, leading him to semi-retire from performing dangerous stunts due to the risk of further head injuries.
The announcement of the new Jackass film was made through a joint Instagram post by Johnny Knoxville, the official Jackass account, and the production company Gorilla Flicks, confirming the return of the franchise to the big screen.
The statement released by the Jackass team on Instagram hinted at the excitement for the upcoming film, with the caption “Well a wang dang and hot damn doodle, we are starting the year off with a bang.”
