Mick Jagger cheated death not once but twice, according to a new Rolling Stones biography.
In 1976, the rock band’s frontman allegedly almost overdosed after doing heroin at record producer Marshall Chess’ New York City apartment on East 69th Street, Bob Spitz writes in his newly released book, “The Rolling Stones: The Biography.”
Chess and Jagger shared heroin, leading to Jagger collapsing and needing resuscitation.
Jagger was saved by Chess and others, including Faye Dunaway, who helped keep the incident private.
In 1984, Jagger and Keith Richards had a drunken altercation where Charlie Watts punched Jagger.
Richards saved Jagger from falling out of a window during the altercation.
