KISS leaders Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons discussed the upcoming avatar-based KISS show, tentatively scheduled to launch in Las Vegas in 2028.
Pophouse Entertainment acquired KISS’s song catalog, name, image, likeness rights, and artist share of master recordings and publishing rights in a deal worth over $300 million.
The KISS avatar show will feature iconic face personas like The Demon and the Starchild, with a mix of classic hits and new songs written by the band.
The avatars previewed at Madison Square Garden were fantasy-based superheroes, and the upcoming show promises a 4D roller coaster ride through KISS’s hits and comic book worlds.
The KISS avatar show will be fully virtual, attacking the senses with effects like fire and brimstone, and is planned to be staged worldwide, not just in Vegas.
