Peter Frampton has released a powerful new track, “Lions at the Gate,” from his upcoming album Carry the Light.
The song stands out as a protest-driven anthem, featuring blistering guitar work from Tom Morello and additional vocals from Frampton’s son, Julian Frampton.
Inspired by the iconic lion statues often seen outside Hollywood mansions in the 1920s, the track blends symbolism with a modern message. Frampton praised the collaboration, calling it “a powerful track with a powerful message,” adding that Morello’s playing “took it to another level.”
With Carry the Light on the horizon, Frampton continues to evolve his sound while staying rooted in the guitar-driven style that made him a legend.
