Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson recalled the first rehearsal, mentioning that they played songs like “Limelight,” “Spirit Of Radio,” and “Subdivisions” with Anika Nilles to break the ice.
Alex Lifeson expressed a newfound appreciation for Neil Peart’s drumming style after hearing another drummer interpret Rush’s songs, highlighting the tightness and firmness in attack that Peart brought to the music.
Rush’s upcoming “Fifty Something” tour will kick off in Los Angeles in June and continue across North America and internationally through 2027, with stops in Mexico, South America, and Europe.
