The music video for “Your Love” by The Outfield has reached 1 billion views on YouTube, 40 years after its release.
“Your Love” was the band’s first song to reach YouTube’s Billion Views Club and remains their most popular track.
Diplo’s remix of “Your Love” in 2024 led to a resurgence of the song, reaching the top 10 on the Dance Digital Song Sales chart.
The Outfield had other successful songs on the Billboard charts, including “Since You’ve Been Gone” and tracks from their albums Bangin’ and Voices of Babylon.
The Outfield, formed in 1984, released seven studio albums before disbanding in 2014 after the death of guitarist/songwriter John Spinks and later vocalist/bassist Tony Lewis in 2020.
