Foo Fighters were among the artists paying tribute to Mariah Carey at the 2026 MusiCares Gala, ahead of the Grammy Awards.
The Foos were joined by Taylor Momsen of The Pretty Reckless to cover songs from Carey’s ‘secret’ 1995 grunge album Someone’s Ugly Daughter, including “Love Is A Scam” and “Demented”.
Jennifer Hudson, John Legend, Maggie Rogers, and Laufey were also part of the tribute.
Mariah Carey expressed gratitude for the moment: “Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d be here with all these magnificent artists singing my songs back to me.”
The event raised funds for MusiCares’ relief efforts, with attendees bidding on items like a trip to see Carey perform in Abu Dhabi and a stage-worn outfit, all in support of charity.
