Jack Osbourne has confirmed that an actor has been chosen to play his late father, Ozzy Osbourne, in the long-awaited biopic.
The project has been in development with Sony for six years and is now moving forward with a director attached and a rewrite in progress.
Ozzy Osbourne’s reaction to the film updates was nonchalant, with Jack mentioning that Ozzy just wanted to know when the movie would be out so he could watch it.
The biopic is expected to be raw and not sugar-coated, with Jack emphasizing that they are not holding back in portraying the story.
Filming for the biopic could potentially start in March, with a projected release date around summer 2027, making the project feel more tangible for Ozzy fans.
