Songs by Butthole Surfers, Pixies, and Iron Maiden are featured on the soundtrack for the final season of Stranger Things.
The soundtrack includes tracks like Butthole Surfers’ “Human Cannonball,” Pixies’ “Here Comes Your Man,” and Iron Maiden’s “The Trooper.”
In a scene from Stranger Things, Finn Wolfhard’s character, Mike, connects a spinning Butthole Surfers record to a weapon against the Upside Down, while Maya Hawke’s character, Robin, suggests The Replacements would be a better soundtrack for saving the world.
Wolfhard is also co-writing the script for a Replacements biopic, adding an ironic twist to the music choices in the show.
Both Stranger Things season 5 and its soundtrack are currently available.
