Megadeth has partnered with Trafalgar Releasing for a cinematic legacy event titled “Megadeth: Behind The Mask.”
It will debut on January 22, ahead of the release of the band’s self-titled final studio album on January 23.
The film will feature Dave Mustaine sharing untold stories of the band’s past and the creative fire that drives them, along with the world premiere of the album, providing a 40-year retrospective career-spanning interview and Mustaine’s track-by-track reflections.
Mustaine expressed excitement about the event: “This listening event is going to be amazing. I can’t wait to share it with thousands of my closest friends around the world.”
Megadeth is planning a global farewell tour that Mustaine says could last several years.
