KISS’s Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons made an unboxing video for the new “Alive!” 50th-anniversary super deluxe box set, celebrating the iconic live album that revolutionized the music industry.
The Super Deluxe box set includes 120 total tracks with 88 unreleased tracks, including two full-length concerts from the 1975 “Dressed To Kill” tour mixed by Eddie Kramer with no overdubs.
The box set also features a 100-page hardcover book with liner notes by Ken Sharp, a press kit, concert posters, ticket stubs, backstage passes, and other collectibles.
Eddie Kramer discussed working on the original “Alive!” album, mentioning that they had to fix some elements after the fact to capture the live sound of KISS from that time.
Paul Stanley highlighted the immersive experience of “Kiss Alive!” and how it captured the essence of a live show, despite some enhancements and fixes to create a memorable live album.
