Megadeth’s final album features a punk-inspired track titled ‘I Don’t Care’ and a music video directed by Keith J. Leman.
The music video captures a punk aesthetic, showcasing rebellious kids skateboarding, attending house parties, and tagging buildings.
Dave Mustaine wanted the video to reflect his youth, stating, “What it’s like to be a young Dave again, to hang out with my friends, drink beer, light fires, skate, do house parties and all that kind of stuff?”
The final album will include a reclamation of Metallica’s ‘Ride The Lightning,’ with Mustaine emphasizing that it’s not a cover but a way to honor James Hetfield while moving forward.
Megadeth’s final self-titled album is set to be released on January 23rd.
