Sir Paul McCartney kicked off his first North American tour in three years with shows in California, starting with a warm-up gig at the Santa Barbara Bowl and continuing at Acrisure Arena in Thousand Palms.
McCartney performed “Help!” live for the first time in 35 years at both shows, using the Höfner bass he was recently reunited with after 50 years.
The Santa Barbara Bowl concert had a no-phone policy, leading to the first live footage of “Help!” coming from the Acrisure Arena show.
The full setlist for McCartney’s Acrisure Arena show on September 29th included a mix of Beatles and Wings songs, culminating in an encore featuring classics like “Hey Jude” and “The End.”
McCartney’s 2025 tour dates include stops in Las Vegas, Albuquerque, Denver, Minneapolis, Tulsa, San Antonio, New Orleans, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Montreal, Hamilton, and Chicago.
