Ghost were forced to cancel the first of three scheduled Mexico City rituals at Palacio de los Deportes after frontman Tobias Forge came down with a sudden case of food poisoning.
Despite the setback, the band confirmed that the remaining two gigs are still on track for tonight and tomorrow. Fans who purchased tickets online will receive automatic refunds for the canceled performance, while those who bought through Ticketmaster outlets can request refunds starting September 26.
The Mexico City dates follow Ghost’s recently completed U.S. run of their Skeletour. While the band has teased more appearances ahead, their calendar remains clear following the Mexico shows—hinting that something new may be brewing.
