Smashing Pumpkins have surprised fans with a new track titled “Chrome Jets,” originally recorded during the sessions for their Aghori Mhori Mei album. The release comes alongside a special collectible: a limited-edition 12-inch vinyl featuring “Chrome Jets” and a live version of “Zoo Station (Live Berlin 6.22.24).”
Fans can snag the exclusive pressing through frontman Billy Corgan’s Madame Zuzu’s tea shop in Highland Park, Illinois. Adding to the excitement, the band will celebrate 30 years of their landmark album Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness with a new sonic and visual experience at the Lyric Opera of Chicago. The event promises an immersive reimagining of one of the most iconic alternative rock records of the ’90s, giving longtime fans a chance to experience Mellon Collie like never before.
