The seminal punk classic “Never Mind The Bollocks, Here’s The Sex Pistols” is available today from Rhino High Fidelity, the premium vinyl reissue series.
The reissue was cut from the original master tapes by Kevin Gray and pressed on 180-gram black vinyl at Optimal in Germany.
The album, recorded by the Sex Pistols in 1977, debuted at No. 1 on the U.K. charts despite being banned by major retailers and causing widespread controversy, featuring tracks like “Anarchy In The U.K.”, “God Save The Queen”, “Pretty Vacant”, and “Holidays In The Sun”.
Despite the band’s breakup in January 1978, the legacy of The Sex Pistols and “Never Mind The Bollocks” endures, with the album selling over a million copies in the U.S., being inducted into the Grammy Hall Of Fame, and ranking high among the greatest albums of all time.
