In an incident that brings to mind a legendary Ozzy Osbourne tale, The Pretty Reckless’ Taylor Momsen had an encounter with a bat while performing in Spain earlier this week.
The band was performing “Witches Burn” when Momsen noticed audience members shrieking and pointing at her leg, she says. She looked down and saw a bat, which had landed on her left thigh. “There is a f***ing flying bat on my leg right now,” she said into the microphone. “Can someone help me, please? I must really be a witch!”
Although crew members quickly removed the bat from her leg, Momsen didn’t walk away from the incident unscathed. Photos posted online reveals a nasty bite on the singer’s leg. “He was cute, but yes, he bit me,” Momsen writes online. “So, rabies shots for the next two weeks. Thanks to all the staff at the hospital who dubbed me ‘batgirl’ after seeing it on the local news that morning.”
