Ozzy Osbourne’s last-ever live performance took place at Villa Park soccer stadium in Birmingham, England, with the original lineup of Black Sabbath.
Osbourne, diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, sang from a black throne that rose up from under the stage during the performance.
Osbourne exclaimed, “Let the madness begin!” as he took the stage, emphasizing the significance of the event.
Ozzy started off with a set of solo hits like “Crazy Train”, “Mr. Crowley”, and “Mama, I’m Coming Home”.
He was then joined by the rest of Black Sabbath for four songs: “War Pigs”, “Iron Man”, “N.I.B.”, and “Paranoid”.
The heavy metal icon paid tribute to the 40,000 fans who gathered for the event, acknowledging their support and dedication.
Earlier this year, Osbourne confirmed via Billboard that he wouldn’t perform a full set with Black Sabbath, saying, “I am doing what I can, where I feel comfortable.”
