Initially joining as a temporary replacement for James Kottak due to health concerns, Dee ultimately became a permanent member of the band. He explained his mission was to bring precision, heaviness, and a bit of that classic Motorhead energy to Scorpions’ live and studio sound. “I have to be the rock back there,” he said, emphasizing his role in driving the band’s powerful performances.
