Black Sabbath, formed in 1968, will reunite for one final concert in Birmingham, England, with Ozzy Osbourne and his original bandmates.
The concert, titled “Back to the Beginning,” will feature a star-studded lineup of heavy metal bands, including Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Tool, and Alice in Chains, all playing Black Sabbath hits.
Zakk Wylde, Black Sabbath’s guitarist, confirmed that none of the bands at the concert will play their own music, emphasizing the significance of Black Sabbath’s influence on the genre.
Despite Ozzy Osbourne’s health issues, including Parkinson’s disease, he is preparing for the final show by hitting the gym and plans to perform “little bits and pieces” during the concert.
Zakk Wylde expressed hope that the final concert will lead to more tours with Ozzy Osbourne, but the singer’s health condition makes it uncertain.
