Ringo Starr is confirming that he smoked weed for the first time with Bob Dylan.
On the Tuesday episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Ringo explained, “Yeah. He didn’t personally hand it to me, he had a friend of his in the room who actually handed it to me.”
Kimmel said, “Did you love that experience?” to which Starr responded, “Loved it. After we’d sat around in that room smoking dope, I came out of that room into the living room of the hotel and we’d forgotten we ordered room service. So this guy came wheeling in a couple of trolleys for the four of us.”
Starr said everyone was thrilled and ate up the grub since weed “makes you a little hungry.”
