A man who’s attempting to drink 2,000 pints of beer in 200 days has nearly reached his goal.
U.K. resident Jon May has been downing at least 10 pints a day since he began the challenge and is expecting to hit the 2,000 mark at about 4 p.m. on Friday. Doing so hasn’t been cheap, either – May says he’s spent $9,662 on beer at local pubs. Plus, he says he’s taken in 361,990 calories in beer alone.
May began his drinking binge after he found someone on TikTok who was attempting to drink 1,000 pints in a year, which amounts to just 2.7 pints per day. Vowing to “crush those numbers,” May decided to create a more difficult challenge for himself, he says.
Since then, he’s amassed more than 112,000 followers on his own TikTok account.
