Lamont & Tonelli interviewed San Francisco 49ers Head Coach Kyle Shanahan. Coming off of the first home game loss, Shanahan says “No, I don’t think any coaches ever think that. You hope for it, and go one game at a time but you never plan on being undefeated that’s for sure”.

Lamont mentioned how the game against Green Bay Packers had him glued to his seat! “Yeah, I wish our number one goal was entertaining, I bet it is for the business like that’s good for the NFL, but that’s not what I’m trying to accomplish.”

As we look to the upcoming game against Seattle, the coach says “we haven’t had very good luck here in the first three weeks with our injuries. We’ve had some rookies he put a little bit of pressure on, we weren’t able to have Elijah last week, and were still not sure about him this week.” The backups are tough to integrate in, and with the running backs specifically “do they know where to go when we’re handing it off to them.”

When it comes to the bye week, the Coach just “wants it spread out from that Thursday Night game.”
